Released in 1980, this otherworldly travelogue showcased a young, uncompromising band excited by all the possibilities in front of them. Simple Minds combine post-punk, dreamy Continental synths, death disco and artsy socio-political scorn (that's a guess -- Jim Kerr's porridge croon is almost undecipherable) on great songs that have aged very well.
